Italian Trulli

Yosemite

We didn't reserve the park entrance ticket so we only managed to enter the park on day 1 after 4pm. We're then able to reserve the entrance ticket for day 2 on day 1. Each pass lasts for 3 days. Unfortunately we had to leave rather early on second day in order to make it back to the bay area in time (for other reasons) so we didn't explore as much on the second day.

Day 1

Lewis Creek Trail Middle Trailhead 路 Oakhurst, CA 93644
According to the map, this trail is supposed to lead to the Red Rock Falls. However somewhere in the middle, we weren't able to continue on the trail (we do see the other side but couldn't get over to it). We ended up just finding a spot along the trail to chill by the Lewis Fork.

Mariscos Colima 路 40208 CA-41, Oakhurst, CA 93644
It's decent food overall though the chips and salsa are pretty good. (So good that we asked for extra to bring along for our trip.)

Mariposa Grove Welcome Plaza 路 Mariposa Grove Rd, Fish Camp, CA 93623
This is the main entrance to a trail to see all the large Sequoia trees. The shuttle here would bring you to the start of the trail, just follow the crowd and you'll be fine.

Fallen Monarch 路 Yosemite National Park, Fish Camp, CA 93623
One of the first photo spot of the trail. Looks interesting 馃し

California Tunnel Tree 路 Fish Camp, CA 93623
This is one of the signature tunnel tree where you can take a photo of you "walking through" the tree trunk.
Day 2

Yosemite Valley Visitor Center 路 9035 Village Dr, Yosemite Valley, CA 95389
Pretty chill area to checkout and hang around. We had our lunch here but if you prefer, I think the Degnan Deli nearby might be a better food option.

Yosemite Falls 路 Yosemite Village, CA 95389
We visited on late summer which unfortunately is the time when it's starting to go dry. While we didn't get to see the waterfall, we do see some "water drizzle" and were afforded more access to climbing on terrains that would otherwise be filled with water.
