KL Food Trip

This is not an actual "food trip" and I'm not a "foodie". This is just a list of places where I had food when I was in KL a while back. There's no "geographical optimization" on location. I just go eat wherever convenient / recommended by my friends lol.

Day 1

Yut Kee Restaurant
I ordered Roti Babi here and I have to admit, I didn't know what to expect. It doesn't look like what I expected and it tastes interesting. I like it nonetheless. Also generally good vibes, feels a bit more like HK style 茶餐厅 than Malaysian kopitiam.

Murni Discovery SS2
Decent supper place with a lot of options. They also seems to split the bills pretty nicely. Not a lot of seats imo but as far as I saw, it was nicely filled (~70 - 80%) most of the time I was there.
Day 2

Big Leaf BLR
I had the banana leaf with fried chicken which was pretty good. I think they did forgot one of the fried chicken order took a while somehow but otherwise, no complaints. Taste good and everything.

美滋锅 Beauty in The Pot @ The Gardens Mall
Pretty good hotpot as far as I can tell. Very pinkish theme and everything. Honestly haven't had enough hotpot in Malaysia to tell how well this store compare but personally, I like what I had.

7-Eleven (7 Café) Bandar Puteri Puchong
Not an actual food place but an interesting hangout place. It's a 7-Eleven with full blown (7-Eleven run) café on the second floor. Decently spacious but not a lot of private space tbh. For hanging out with friends and chit-chat, this is a decent spot to be at (especially with AC and all).
Day 3

Woo Pin 45 Kamunting
I ordered the fried fish with ee mee. Fish tastes alright (tbh ordering fried fish is not the way to tell if the fish is fresh lol), noodle tastes decent, like the broth quite a bit. Overall a nice place to have lunch at.

Licky Chan & The Poke Guy
Interesting ice-cream place. It's pretty well hidden and all. Has a bunch of interesting flavors. I think I had one of the lychee-something flavor. I like it.

Ban Lee Bak Kut Teh
Haven't had Bak Kut Teh in forever and definitely never had one in KL. Not the best BKT I've ever had (sorry maybe that's my Penang bias speaking) but this is pretty good nonetheless. Also tried the dry BKT for the first time. I like what I had here (both the dry and the soup).
Day 4

Restaurant Kin Kin (Chili Pan Mee)
I randomly searched online for a good food place in Chow Kit and found this listed on some blog so I decided to give it a shot. I have no idea what's on the menu, I just told the uncle "一碗" and just ate whatever I was served. Love how it taste.

Hometown Hainan Coffee
I mean, I'm trying to catch my flight so it is what it is. Your typical "Malaysian food in a restaurant" place. Can't complain.
